Colleen Kong Savage, born 1973 in Hawaii, grew up in various parts of
Southeast Asia. She earned a BA in Visual Art at Smith College and
MFA in Fiction Writing at Columbia University.Her work has been seen
in the following exhibitions, as well as in literary journals such as Calyx,
Possibilitiis, and Grecourt Review. Since 2001, she has also been a
mural artist for nonprofit organization New York Cares. Last year she spearheaded NYCentral Artists’ first annual group show, generously hosted by the prestigious National Arts Club. CBS News dubbed the exhibit, “bold, irreverant, thought-provoking.” —May 2004
